The u3a Theatre Goers Group started in May 2015 with 22 members, we now have 98 members. We are interested in all sorts of theatrical works, drama, music, comedy, dance, pantomime, etc. Generally, we go to shows in the Angus area, but we have also been to shows in Pitlochry, Aberdeen and Edinburgh.

We plan to have one outing each month but should interesting shows come up, we can have more than one outing. Members are invited to suggest shows they would like to see, as others would probably like to see them too.

So please let me know if there is anything that interests you.

We hire local coaches for our outings and all bus costs are shared equally.

I send out an email to all Group members about possible events and ask to let me know asap if they wish to go. If you do not have email, I will telephone you. Once I know who is going to the show, I will book and pay for the tickets, which you will then pay to me. Refunds are not available from any of the theatres once the tickets are paid for, so your payment cannot be refunded if for any reason you are then unable to go. I will, however, always endeavour to find someone else for the ticket, but that may not always be possible.
