The u3a is a World-wide movement which brings together people in their ‘third age,’ which is the time after you have finished working or raising your family and is purely for fun and pleasure. Our members are at the heart of the organisation where learners teach and teachers learn, learning is its own reward! You can also get involved and help organise activities for yourself and others if that is something you would like to do.
In Forfar, and the surrounding area, we have a wide variety of groups for you to choose from and you can join as many as you wish. You can see all the groups by selecting ‘Groups’ at the top of the screen. When selecting any group you will see the current status and contact information of that Group Leader.

If you are a member of another branch of the u3a, you can join us as an associate member. The subscription for 2025-2026 will be £10. To join just follow the instructions above and please let us know which branch you are a full member of.
