The Gardening Group is emerging from winter hibernation and will be meeting weekly on Mondays at 1.30pm at the Men's Shed site at Orchardbank.

We meet for about 2 hours and the group would suit seasoned gardeners and novices alike. We have 7 raised beds and 1/4 of a polytunnel to tend as well as having free rein to clear/tidy/reclaim various borders round the site. Tools are available (though we do find everyone has their own favourite implement which they bring with them).

If you choose to join us you'd be required to join Men's Shed and would be able to access any of the activities they arrange (£15 per year).

We have lots of chat and usually a sit-down towards the end of the session is accompanied by some kind of hot or cold drink.
