

Welcome and thank you for joining the Forfar and District u3a, we hope this is the start of a long and enjoyable association you will have with us. Your membership entitles you to attend as many of our Groups as you wish.
We have two main points of contact with our members - our General Meetings and our Website. Our preferred method of correspondence with you is email, but if this presents a problem, please let us know. It is, however, left to you to contact the Group Leaders and make arrangements to join individual groups. Members of Groups should receive emails from Group Leaders keeping you up to date, again, if this is not suitable please let them know.
If you have a hobby, skill or interest you would like to share with others we would be delighted to hear from you. You may even like to set up and/or lead a group. If you do please contact our Groups Coordinator.


For those members who do not use the Internet our Chairperson issues a regular newsletter which gives information on the various groups, our General Meetings - which are held on the 2nd Wednesday of the month - and any other matters which arise.

About provides some information about the UK wide u3a movement. You can click on the yellow u3a image to visit the National u3a website and information about Forfar and District u3a and how to become a Member.
Groups
Here you will find a list of the Interest Groups we currently have meeting regularly as part of the Forfar and District u3a. By clicking on whichever group interests you, you will be taken to more information about that group e.g. who leads the group, how to contact the leader, where and how often it meets, any costs involved in attending and any outings/events that are being planned specifically for the Group members.
Events
This is where you will find details of our monthly meetings. Usually more than 50 members come along to hear a speaker and enjoy refreshments and a chat afterwards. There are also details of any forthcoming events and outings for any of our members.
